The VISTA (Venue for Innovation, Science, Technology and Academics) building at Pomfret School is a cutting-edge educational facility designed to enhance science and technology education for students. Located on the school’s main academic quad, the three-story building features advanced laboratories for various scientific disciplines and collaborative spaces for interdisciplinary projects. The building’s architectural design blends contemporary design with the historic character of the campus, creating a visually striking and functional space.
VISTA features a variety of Kawneer’s sustainable, high-performing architectural aluminum systems, including our 1600 Wall System®1 Curtain Wall and 500T Insulpour® Thermal Entrances. Featuring our innovative IsoPour™ technology, our 500T Wide Stile Insulpour® Thermal Entrances were specified for the project to provide superior thermal performance while accommodating high traffic.
VISTA represents a significant investment in the future of education at Pomfret School. The building’s sustainable design and modern features support the school’s overall mission of fostering intellectual curiosity and academic excellence. VISTA provides a dynamic environment for students to explore and innovate while preparing them for the future.
