Elgin Kia (pictured) in Elgin, Illinois, utilizes the Kawneer 1620 Curtain Wall System with a 2″ (50.8mm) sightline and 7-1/2″ (190.5mm) depth, with steel reinforcement inside the mullions and finished with #14 Clear Anodized finish. The glazier, Broken Glass, Inc., completed the shop drawings in their office. For the interior, Kawneer’s Trifab® VersaGlaze® 450 and 451T Framing Systems were used for the vestibule and between the service area and showroom, ensuring a cohesive and durable design.

Further, the McGrath Kia in Hiawatha, Iowa, features Kawneer’s 1600 Wall System®2 Structural Silicone Glazed (SSG) Curtain Wall System with a 2-1/2″ sightline and 10-1/2″ system depth, also finished with #14 Clear Anodized finish. This system was factory fabricated with standard shear block construction and required structural silicone at both the exterior and interior of the building, providing a sleek and modern appearance.

The Raymond Kia in Antioch, Illinois, incorporated Kawneer’s 1600 Wall System®1 Curtain Wall.

Similar to the Elgin Kia project, the Antioch Kia dealership features our 1620 Curtain Wall System with a 2″ (50.8mm) sightline and 7-1/2″ (190.5mm) depth with steel reinforcement inside the mullions and finished with #14 Clear Anodized. The glazier, Broken Glass, Inc., also completed the shop drawings in their office. For the interior, Kawneer’s Trifab® VersaGlaze® 450 and 451T Framing Systems were used for the vestibule and between the service area and showroom, maintaining consistency across the dealership’s design.
