Cade Museum for Creativity & Invention

Gainesville, Florida, USA

Cade Museum’s design was inspired by the Fibonacci sequence and golden spiral, which drove the idea of the museum’s rounded, unwinding shape. It was essential to provide abundant natural light and unobstructed views for a building that represents nature and science. Kawneer combined custom and standard storefront framing with curtain wall glazed solutions to create an innovative facade that features varying elevations centered around the main hall’s eye-catching oculus.
