The SALA building at Pennsylvania State University set out to achieve new standards in sustainable architecture, fully dedicated to fulfilling the belief of architects that spaces shape the way we live. Kawneer’s Trifab® VersaGlaze® 451/451T Framing System was selected for its wide fabrication, design and performance choices and helped to create a façade that enhances thermal performance. The use of Trifab® Framing Systems for the School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture at Pennsylvania State University allowed for GLASSvent® Windows to be easily incorporated into the design, which has less of an exterior sight light. Kawneer’s 500 Tuffline® Entrances delivered a complete system of door, frame and hardware for maximum durability and security.
