The LEED Gold® Los Gatos Public Library features Kawneer’s 1600UT System™1 Curtain Wall, GLASSvent® Windows for Curtain Wall, Versoleil® SunShade – Single Blade System – for Curtain Wall, Trifab® VersaGlaze® 451/451T Framing System and 190 Narrow Stile Entrances. Kawneer worked closely with architects to design a custom solar shading system that perfectly balances visible light and daylight shade. Lighting was an essential element of the design, as the concept was based on libraries being the light of knowledge.
