Superior Performance with Kawneer’s Thermal Entrances

Kawneer’s Product Manager for Storefronts, Entrances and Framing Chris Schultz explains in his most recent thought leadership video how Kawneer’s 250T/350T/500T Insulpour® Thermal Entrances feature innovative IsoPour™ technology, providing superior thermal performance for a range of commercial and multifamily applications.

The patented IsoPour™ Thermal Break technology merges industry-proven pour and debridge with polymer isolator technologies, creating thermally broken assemblies for enhanced building energy efficiencies with high structural performance.

IsoPour™ Thermal Break technology helps eliminate cold spots, reduce condensation and provides dual finish options for design flexibility. The unique thermal break allows for more complex aluminum extrusion shapes and a wider selection of locking option hardware for thermally broken doors.

Kawneer’s 250T/350T/500T Insulpour® Thermal Entrances are available in narrow, medium and wide stiles, and accommodate high traffic. The 250T/350T/500T Insulpour® Thermal Entrances offer a triple pane insulating glass unit (IGU) option to meet enhanced thermal requirements. This infill choice can provide U-factors as low as 0.42* BTU/hr/ft2 /°F to meet progressive energy codes.

High thermal performance products improve the energy efficiency of buildings and increase durability and sustainability. Kawneer offers a wide range of thermal barriers and products that can withstand climate extremes and optimize thermal performance. With 250T/350T/500T Insulpour® Thermal Entrances, create buildings that offer occupants better performance, protection and possibility.
